I HATE SCHOOL.
whew. I'm glad that's out. Honestly, I'd rather write songs all day long. Write books, write poems, create billboard ads, clean toilets, ANYTHING, but go to college! Ok, well maybe not clean toilets. haha. I'm not that desperate. Getting into college is not the piece of cake it was 10 years ago. It's gotten moldy, tough to chew and a little questionable. lol. In other words, the people in admission have nothing better to do than get pickier and pickier on whom they let inside the college's doors.
I haven't found out if I'm in or not, but I will in less than 3 weeks. Nervous? Yes. Anxious? Yes. Do I trust God? Absolutely. Without a doubt. Positively. Then why, you ask, do I still worry about tomorrow? Because I'm human. It's a condition. I can't help it. It's what I, as a young, inexperienced college student, do.
Sadly enough, that's the way it works.
P.S. About that speech. I won the competition hands down. Unanimously. It was SO gratifying. Too bad it didn't count towards my grade.

ReplyDeletealso, i was wondering if you would ever be interested in playing music with two of my friends and i. you might know them wesley tomlin and paul benton. they are both homeschool boys, and that is the only reason i would say you know them. we play on street corners a lot, but are hoping to play satchels or something this summer. let me know!
